Services for Wilbur Oscar Adair, 81, of Emmett, who died in an Emmett Hopsital tuesday will be Friday. Interment will be at the Emmett Cemetery. Mr. Adair was born Oct 30, 1885 at Columbus, Kansas. In 1894 he moved to Iowa and to Colorado in 1903. He married Orrie Ewer in Sept 1912, at Penrose, CO. She preceded him in death in January, 1921. He married Alice Ewer April 29, 1922, at Colorado Springs, CO. They moved to Newberg, Oregon, in October 1926 moving to Emmett in 1928 where he resided since that time. He was a farmer. He was a member of the Emmett Christian Church and served on the Board of Elders. He was a member of the Brick School Board from 1930-1938. Surviving in addition to his wife, Alice, are four sons, W. Glenn, Seattle; Everett L., Anchorage, Alaska; Gordon R., Lewiston and Eldon D. of Orofino; a brother, Jesse R. of Emmett; two sisters, Mrs. leta Schmidt, Inglewood, CO and mrs. Minnie Young, Anaheim, CA; 15 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. One son preceded him in death.
