Services for Jesse Adair, 85, Emmett, who died Saturday were held Wendesday with Rev. Mack Moore of the Presbyterian church officiating. Interment was at Emmett. He was born March 16, 1889, at Galena, Kan. and moved with his parents to Colorado in 1902. He married Ethel Ewer June 10, 1917 at Penrose, Colo. He was employed in Colorado by the Beaver Park Land and Irrigation company for 17 years. He came to Emmett in 1927 and farmed until his retirement in 1957. He was an elder of the Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his wife, of Emmett; a son, Harold, LaMesa, Calif; a daughter, Evelyn Smidt, Coolidge, Ariz; a sister, Leta Smith, Denver; 12 grandchildren and thre great-grandchildren.
