JOHN D. STRINGER
John D. Stringer, 62, died in Cherry Ridge Nursing Home Tuesday night after a long illness. He was a World War II veteran and a retired timberman. A native of Haile, he had lived in Bastrop since 1927. Funeral arrangements are incomplete but will be handled by Golden Funeral Home.
