Millard Rash who has been a sufferer for several years with tuberculosis of the bone, passed out of this life at his home southwest of town Saturday afternoon. The funeral was held Monday at 2 o'clock, Interment at Miller cemetery. He leaves a wife and one son by a former marriage.
Higher on page 3, the paper notes that the Union section was held back the previous week due to lack of space, so that's why we have the long gap between his death and the obituary.
