MRS. FREEMAN'S BURIAL HELD AT ESSEX
Funeral services for Mrs. Oscar (Bertha) Freeman were conducted form the Fremont Covenant Church in Page County, Iowa on Tuesday, July 26, 1966 at 2:30 o'clock. The Rev. Earl D. Swanson officiated.
Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Nelson sang "Beyond the Sunset" I Have a Future All Sometime". Accompanying them at the organ was Mrs. Delbert Anderson.
Caring for the flowers were Mrs. Donald D. Erickson, Mrs. Delaine Lundgren, and Mrs. Kenneth Nadgwick. At the memory book was Mrs. Minnie Almquist.
Ushering were Keith Gremer and Wesley Lundgren.
Castraters were David Anderson, Delbert Anderson, Donald D. Erickson, Leonard Larson, Delaine Lundgren, and Kenneth Nadgwick. The Carson Hackett Funeral Service was in charge with interment at the Essex Cemetery.
She died July 15, 1966 at a nursing home in Farragut following two weeks of declining failing health. She had reached the age of 82 years, 18 months, and 17 days.
Surviving her are her son Stanley Freeman, his wife Margaret, two grandchildren, Dennis and Douglas of Shenandoah, one brother, Grover Peterson of Stanton and a host of other relatives and friends.
