Born: Aug. 4, 1912, near Staunton, Va., to Ervine Michael and Carrie Ellen Coiner.
Career: Prior to retirement, he was an employee of E.I. DuPont de Nemours at Waynesboro, Va.
Preceded in death by: his parents; a sister, Catherine Davies; and a brother, Carl Coiner.
Survivors: his wife, Ethel Geraldine Coiner; a daughter, Linda Archer of Gallup, N.M.; two sons, Stuart Coiner of Kampala, Uganda, and Ronald Coiner of North Huntingdon; a sister, Ann Taylor; and a brother, Edward Coiner.
Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at the Augusta Memorial Park Chapel, Waynesboro.
