The two-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. E.M. Coiner, who lived on the old Greenville road, near this city, was burned to death on Friday morning. The parents had gone to the barn to milk, leaving the child in the room, and during their absence he crawled to the stove and his clothes became ignited, with the fatal results. Mrs. Coiner, who returned to the house first, found the body of the child on the floor dead and the room full of smoke. The infant was their only child. The bereaved parents have the heartfelt sympathy of the community in their great trouble.
