The parents of John and Andrew are disputed i.e. Bernard (1741-1817), Jn Jacob (1738-1825), or Andreas (1746-1789) DNA study of one researcher interpretation:
John Kepler (b. 1775; d. 1833) was the son of Andrew Kepler (b. 4 Feb. 1746; m. 1771; d. 1789); m. Margaretha Braun (b. 1750; m. 1771; d.?)
Andrew Kepler with his brother John came to Green Twp Stark Co Ohio in 1809 from Centre county Penna.. They built a little cabin then brought families to Ohio in 1810. Andrew fought in War of 1812 while brother John cared for families. John died 22 Oct 1833 while working cider press. He is buried on family burial plot on farm near center of east 80 acres of the south east quarter of section of East Liberty with Andrew's infant son, wife Magdalena Kramer twin to Andrew's wife Mary, and 50 other locals at that time. Around 1849 Andrew donated land for the present day cemetery where he and his wife Mary Kramer are buried. Many tombstones were destroyed around 1900.

Andrew's children: Mary, Elizabeth, Catherine, Sarah, John A, Rebecca Margaret, Jacob A, Andrew A. and Samuel. ( Samuel was killed 1854 by lightening, He married Margaret Warner daughter of John S. Warner. He is probably buried in East Liberty Cemetery)
