Revolutionary War veteran, Captain Jacob Whetstone's Co.

Aka Kepler.

His will, probated 22 Nov 1817, lists his widow Margaret, 18 children and a few grandchildren: Bernard Jr, Benjamin, John, Andrew, Henry, Molly (w/o William Whetstone), Anna Maria (w/o David Raudenbush), Isaac, Samuel, William, Jacob, Moses, Tobias, son of his son George, Susanna, Esther, children of his daughter Maria Salome Roch, children of his daughter Catharine Kehler (Schuylkill Co, Pa, Will Book 1, Page 260).

Part of his estate file from 1850 lists these children: Samuel, William, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Tobias, Susanna Will and Esther and mentions the children of his daughter Catharine Kehler (his estate was not completely settled until 1869). His will and estate papers seem to separate his children into two groups with the second group listed here. This suggests they were by a different wife, which in this case they were probably by his wife Margaret.
