Funeral services for Thomas B. Arp, 53, who died Saturday night in the home of his brother, Lee, in Andrews , N. C., will be held at 2 p.m. today in Rose's Chapel, with the Rev. Eugene Hopper officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood. Arp resided at 344 West Atlantic Avenue.
Pall bearers will be E. L. Coyle, Emmett D. Shawn, George J. Sauer, L. C. Self, W. S. Burchfield and George A. Baird.
Arp was a member of the George H. McKinney lodge 433, F. & A. M.
Surviving are the widow, Myrtle; daughter, Mrs. W. R. Dender, Knoxville; son, Thomas; two brothers, Lee of Andrews, N. C., and A. R. of Benton, Tenn.; four sisters, Mrs. Lula Brummett, Oliver Springs; Mrs. Anna Lawrence, Washington, D.C., and Mrs. Nona Sullenberger, Knoxville, and three grandchildren.
The body was taken to the residence from Rose Funeral Home at 5 p.m. yesterday.
