ROTHROCK WINSTON-SALEM - Mr. Lawrence Haynes Rothrock, 73, of Winston-Salem, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2009 at Silas Creek Manor. Mr. Rothrock was born in Forsyth County to the late Ruben Rink and Vivian Campbell Rothrock. He served in U.S. Army during the Korean War. Mr. Rothrock is survived by a step-daughter, Robin Whittington of Farmington; three grandchildren, Hannah, Clay, and Sterling Whittington; two sisters, Zelda Wrights of Salisbury and Doris Holder of Lewisville; and four brothers, Terry Rothrock of Advance, Charles Rothrock of Advance, Lynn Rothrock of Winston-Salem, and Arch Rothrock of Lewisville. A Graveside Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, March 30, 2009 at Boyer' s Chapel Church of Christ with Jerry Williams officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Silas Creek Manor, 3350 Silas Creek Parkway, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
