Born July 11, 1926, in Forsyth County, she was the daughter of the late Reuben Rink and Vivian Campbell Rothrock. She was educated in Forsyth County schools and graduated from Lewisville High School.
Mrs. Wrights was a member of Boyers Chapel Church of Christ, Clemmons, and was a homemaker. She taught ceramics in Cooleemee and Spencer, enjoyed painting and attended art classes at Rufty-Holmes Senior Center. She also enjoyed crafts, including crocheting and quilting.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Amos Wrights, on Feb. 10, 1985.
Survivors include her daughters, Nancy W. Cook and husband James of Salisbury, Toni W. Shelton and husband Marvin of Summerville, S.C., Dana Wrights of Salisbury; sons R. Wayne Wrights of Salisbury and David E. Wrights and wife Sandra of China Grove; sister Doris Holder of Lewisville; brothers Charles Rothrock and Terry Rothrock, both of Advance, Lynn Rothrock of Winston-Salem and Arch Rothrock of Lewisville; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Service: Graveside services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday at Boyers Chapel Church of Christ, Clemmons, with Mr. Jerry Williams presiding.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Summersett Funeral Home; and at other times, will be at the residence of her daughter, Nancy Cook.
