LEVI L. BAKER
Levi L. Baker, son of M. T. and Alvie L. Baker, was born in Ottercreek township, Lucas county, Iowa, on Sept. 25, 1895, and died at his home near Norwood, on Oct. 23, 1918, at the age of 23 years, 3 weeks and 5 days.
He was married to Elsie Ferne Blackstock of Lucas on July 4, 1917. To this union was born one son, Leroy F.
The departed leaves to mourn his loss his bereaved wife and baby son, his father and mother, four sisters and two brothers, and a host of other relatives and friends, who offer their heartfelt sympathy to the grief stricken ones.
Private funeral services were conducted at the home on Oct. 24, by Rev. A. F. Polk, of Lacona, a former pastor of the deceased, and burial was made in the Fletcher cemetery.
