She was born July 16, 1894, in Burlington, the daughter of Paul and Mathilda Nees Long. Nov. 13, 1913, in Burlington, she married Frank Hartman. He died Feb. 14, 1957.
Mrs. Hartman, a housewife, was a member of St. John's Catholic church.
Surviving: three sons, Leo, Warren, and Paul and one daughter, Janet Bunte, all of Burlington; three sisters, Mrs. Lydia Clifford, Galesburg, Mrs. Madeline Saarlees, Belle Ville, N.J., Mrs. Lillian Klein, Skokie, Ill.; one brother, Charles Long, Burlington; three grandchildren.
Burial in Sacred Heart cemetery.
