MRS. LOUIS WIESELER

ROCHESTER, MN--Mrs. Louis C. Wieseler, 73, of 1736 First St. S.W., Rochester, Minn., a retired St. Mary's Hospital employee, died unexpectedly Sunday morning, March 9, 1986 of a heart condition at her home. She had been ill for some time.

The former Barbara Catherine Reifenrath was born May 24, 1912 near Wynot, Neb. She was a graduate of Holy Trinity Catholic High School of Hartington and taught school until moving to Rochester.

On Nov. 22 she and Louis Wieseler were married in St. James. She was employed at St. Mary's Hospital and retired in 1978 as a unit assistant. Her husband also worked at St. Marys and retired in 1978. She belonged to the Altar Society of St. Pius X Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband, two daughters, Barbara Lou Heintz of Mankato, Minn. and Marilyn Steffen, Kosota, Minn; two sons Norman of Fairbault, Minn. and Ronald John, Austin, Minn.; seven grandchildren, two brothers, Alphons and Joseph Reifenrath, both of Wynot; Sister Aelreda, Yankton, SD., Rosalia Wieseler, Rochester, Minn., Beatrice of Aurora, Ill., Agatha Goeden, Fordyce, Neb. and Angela Gubbels, Randolph, Neb. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Lavina Reifenrath, Wynot, Neb.

A mass of Christian burial was offered at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 12th at St. Pius X Catholic Church with the Rev. Thomas J. Hargesheimer officiating. Burial was in Calvery Cemetery.

Pallbearers were LeRoy Goeden, Donald Walter, Mathias Gubbels, Art Kathol, Roger Wieseler and Francis Wieseler, Jr.

Those attending the funeral from this area were Mr. and Mrs. John Goeden of Fordyce, Mrs. Beverly Guenther and Rita, Crofton; Mary Gerleman, Wynot; Mrs. Dorothy Hochstein and Theresa, Hartington; Mrs. Julie Steffen, Fordyce; Mrs. Angela Gubbels Mathias and Joan, Randolph; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Reifenrath, Wynot; Mr. and Mrs. Norman Sudbeck, Wynot; Art Kathol and Mrs. Marvin Kruse, Hartington; and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hoesing of Newcastle.
