Funeral services for Beverly ZART, 69, of Crofton were held on Wednesday at the Congregational church with the Rev. Wayne Roger officiating. Burial was in the Crofton cemetery.
Beverly, daughter of Joseph and Eva BEEMS, longtime residents of Randolph, was born April 3, 1907 in Coleridge. She passed away on Sunday at a Yankton nursing home. She married Harold ZART February 18, 1929 in Pierce and the couple moved to Crofton. Her husband passed away in 1974.
She was a member of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. John (Betty) HILTNER of Lincoln and Mrs. Dean (Sharon) STRATTON of Halstead, Kan.; two sons, Joseph of Crofton and Richard of Pequot Lakes, Minn.; two brothers John of Vancouver, Wash, and Elmer of Cedar Rapids, Ia.; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
