Age 55, of Malvern, died Wednesday evening in St Joseph's Mercy Health Center in Hot Springs; born in Malvern, to the late Curtis Woodrow and Catherine McMains Buie; schooled in Magnet Cove; worked in law enforcement for nearly thirty years, including Deputy Sheriff in North Little Rock, Malvern and Hot Spring County, and Pulaski County Sheriff's Department; married Eddie Arivette on January 29, 1982; member of the Butterfield Missionary Baptist Church.

Predeceased by parents and sister Treva Buie House.

Survivors include husband of twenty eight years, daughter Tracy (Adam) Standridge, son Matthew Arivette, siblings Evelyn Smith, Terry (Sandy) Buie, Phil Buie, and Tony Buie, two grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Graveside services shall include an Honor Guard from the Pulaski County Sheriff's Department.

Memorials are requested to the American Cancer Society, the American Diabetes Association, Arkansas Hospice, or to the Malvern Community Thanksgiving and Christmas Meals, c/o First United Methodist Church, 127 East Page Avenue, Malvern AR.
