John was the brother of my 2x great-grandfather, James Baldwin Womack.

19 Sep 2023 - When I was fourteen years old, my paternal grandmother, Mary Frances (nee Womack) Walls, requested that I take a chair at a writing desk in her home. She gave me an indelible pencil and a lined pad my grandfather used to report his time as a conductor on the CRI&P Railroad Co. "France" shared what she knew about her Womack family back to her grandfather, James Baldwin Womack. It was then in Little Rock, Arkansas that I began my Womack genealogy journey. I am now 84 years old. The Womack DNA manager and I can identify the ancestors of 99% of the Womack families on the 1850 census. If you have Womack questions, please ask now before death comes knocking at my door. ~ Elizabeth Walls Walton
P.S. The beautiful writing desk graces my humble abode.
