Thomas W. Swett, 73, of 10912 Rhonda Way died at 8:10 a.m. Thursday, July 1, 2004, at Proctor Hospital in Peoria. Born Oct. 21, 1930, in Kewanee to Ralph and Clara Engels Swett, he married June M. Fjeld on July 10, 1954, in Kewanee. Surviving are one son, Thomas (and Ann) of Pennsylvania; two daughters, Lynn (and Steve) Williams of Arlington, Texas and Christie (and Richard) Mardoian of West Chester, Pa.; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Leo of Waukegan and Ralph Jr. (and Eileen) of Austin, Texas; and two sisters, Lucille Sturm of Dunlap and Jeanie (and Eugene) Rose of Galva. He was preceded in death by one sister.
He was an Army veteran, serving from 1952 to 1954.
