The Damons were residents of this city about nineteen years ago. For the past several years they have made their home in Cressey. Mrs. Damon passed away early this spring and the body was brought to Wyoming for burial. Mr. Damon accompanied the body, and remained in this city for several weeks. He was ill with the influenza while here, which delayed his return to his home for a week.
He is survived by on daughter, Mrs. H.A. Pauli, of this city, one son, George Damon of Peoria, Ill.; three brothers, Will, of California; Archie, of Bradford, Ill.; Fred, of Montana; and three sisters, Mrs. Nettie Liggett and Mrs. Roxie Aitken, of Nebraska, and Mrs. Alice Peterson, of Montana.
The body will be brought to Wyoming for burial and is due to arrive here Friday morning. The services will be held at the Pauli home on North Seventh Street at 3 o'clock p.m. Friday, and interment will be in the Wyoming Cemetery. The Modern Woodmen will attend in a body. Rev. R.M. Burgess will conduct the funeral rites.
