ATKINSON - Margaret M. Collier, 66, of Atkinson died Thursday, Oct. 12, 2000, at Illini Hospital in Silvis.
Born Feb. 24, 1934, in Wyoming, Ill., to Orville and Bertha Hegwood Barlow, she married Robert L. Collier on Nov. 29, 1952, in Wyoming. He died July 18, 1998.
One daughter, Karen, and one sister also preceded her in death.
Surviving are five daughters, Keitra (and Marvin) Sleaford of Geneseo, Kandas (and John) Hatch of Wyoming, Kellie (and Danny) Whitman of Melbourne, Fla., Kendra (and Phillip) Mason of Atlantic, N.C., and Sgt. Kolette Collier of Kewanee; five brothers, Robert Hegwood of East Peoria, Marvin Barlow of Colorado, Orland Barlow of Oregon, Arlie "Joe" Barlow of Lynn, Mass., and Orville Barlow Jr. of Pateros, Wash.; four sisters, Opal Bowman of Sunnyfield, Clara Tieman of Lyndon, Lois Hart of Henry and Doris Dereu of Kewanee; and nine grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Vandemore Funeral Home. The Rev. Jon Prain will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Wyoming Cemetery.
