STARK -- Donald E. Berg, 65, of Stark died at 3:15 p.m. Sunday, May 21, 1995, at his home.
Born Dec. 11, 1929, in Stark to Clarence and Ruth Wagner Berg, he married Sylvia Childress on May 26, 1951, in Elizabethtown, Ky. She survives.
Also surviving are his mother of Stark; one son, Ronald of Kewanee; two daughters, Mrs. Tim (Becky) Williams of Wyoming, Ill., and Mrs. Dale (Kathy) Markham of Creve Coeur; one sister, Mrs.
Robert (Pat) Decker of East Peoria; one foster sister, Mrs. Jerry (Charlotte) Hollis of Kewanee; and five grandchildren.
An Army veteran, he was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1255 and Wyoming American Legion Post 91. He was a machinist at Caterpillar Inc. for 40 years, retiring in 1986. He was a member of Stark Congregational Church.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Wyoming Funeral Home. The Rev. Dave Wineinger will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. Burial will be in Wyoming Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Kewanee Hospital hospice.
