Mrs. Emily Storm died Wednesday morning at 2:00 o'clock at her home three miles east of Strasburg. Her maiden name was Rankin, she being a daughter of Samuel Rankin, deceased. Her age was 73 years 11 months and 9 days. She was born in Shelby county. She and six of her sisters married men of the name Storm, four of the seven being brothers. Mrs. Storm and three of her sisters died within less than a year. Her husband was J. A. Storm. He died six years ago. Mrs. Storm is mourned by eight children, viz, William, Clint, Cliff, Charles, Eli, Dell, Mrs. Elsada Curry and Mrs. Miles Storm, by two brothers, Samuel Rankin and Greenberry Rankin, three sisters, Mrs. Becky Frazer of Mattoon, Mrs. A. G. Storm of Big Spring, and Mrs. Martha Morgan of Kansas, besides several grandchildren and great grandchildren. The deceased was a member of the Christian church for a great many years. Funeral and burial services were held at Ash Grove church today by Rev. E. E. Smith, pastor of Windsor Christian Church. Windsor Gazette – Thursday - 19 Feb 1914
