Charles Edward Storm, son of James A. and Emily Storm, was born Oct. 9, 1867 in Big Spring township, Shelby Co., IL. He was one of a family of thirteen children, five of which have preceded him in death. He was united in marriage to Sarah Mildred Puryear also of Big Spring township in the year of 1891, who preceded him in death thirteen years. To this union two children were born, Mrs. Bruce Curry and Guy V. Storm, both of this community. He lived his entire life in the township of his birth. He was a loving husband and father; never faltering in his devotion to his family and community; often sacrificing self in behalf of others. His religion was in his honesty and uprightness and observances of the Golden Rule. He was, at the time of his death, 60y 4m 24ds. He leaves to mourn his loss two children, Zoe and Guy, four grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday forenoon at Lower Ash Grove church by Rev.
