Rites Held Tuesday for Flora Butcher, 93
Mrs. Flora Minshall Butcher, 93, was buried at Maple Hill cemetery Tuesday following funeral services at the Calvin chapel. Mrs. Butcher died Sunday. She was a native of Hartford and a member of the Methodist church. The Rev. Gordon Showers officiated at the services.
Mrs. Butcher married Chancy Butcher in 1812.** He died in 1936. She is survived by two sons, Howard of Hartford, and Claude of Lansing; two daughters, Fae Hammond of Bangor and Florine Bernhiesel of Hartford, a brother, Thomas Minshall of Hartford. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
