He married Miss Nancy HOLLAND in Delaware, and sometime thereafter Mr. Cohee removed to Butler county, Ohio. By this marriage three sons and one daughter were born,

Mrs. Nancy Cohee died while the children were yet small.

He married Rebecca WILSON January 4, 1821. She was born in Delaware, January 9, 1803, and her death occurred on March 4, 1868.

In September 30, 1830, they moved to Clinton county, Ind., where he had entered the land in 1828.

Benjamin and Rebecca were the parents of eight children, four sons and four daughters:

Andrew
Wilson G.
James Lemuel
Hezekiah
Rachel C.
Harriet Jane
Eliza Catherine



They settled four miles northwest of Frankfort, when this county was covered with dense woods,in which only a spot here and there had been cleared. Here Benjamin Cohee worked hard and prospered, owning eventually a good farm here on January 7, 1863.
