PETER FLAMMING

Peter Flamming was born May 4, 1844 in Luxembourg, Germany, and died December 21, 1924, at his home in White Lake, S.D.
He came to this country with his parents in the spring of 1855 and settled in Brown County, Wisconsin. In 1880 he homesteaded in Hanson County, South Dakota, where he lived until March 1919, when he came to White Lake and resided at this palce until the time of his death.
In 1881, he was united in marriage to Miss. Catherine Zeihen of Kenosha, Wisconsin. To this union two sons and five daughters were born as follows: Frank, Mrs. J. B. Martin, Mrs. Hacob Hanten and Mary C., all of White Lake, and Michael of Plankinton. Besides his wife and children he leaves a sister, Mrs. Lena Mueller of Green Bay, Wisc. and One brother Nick Flamming of Cooperstonw, Wis. Also eleven grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the catholic church and interment was made in the Catholic Cemetery.
