E-MAILS: {Includes personal & automated Find A Grave e-mails; Edits, Suggestions, etc.} Currently working on 10 Dec 2014 & newer. Please don't be offended if I haven't replied yet, I will get to yours when time allows. I prefer to work them in the order they were received, with some exceptions.

CEMETERIES: As I walk cemeteries, I am taken by the serenity of the cemetery itself as well as the beauty of the tombstones and often the love, respect and honor shown to those who have passed on. It is truly inspiring.

CONTACT OR CORRESPOND WITH ME: Please do not leave public messages on my Profile page if you have personal information to share or wish to request updates. If you would like to correspond with me, utilize my e-mail address on my Profile page. Be sure to include information regarding the person about whom you wish to correspond, (Memorial Number, URL for the Memorial {preferred method}, etc.)

EDITS/UPDATES: Please use the "Edit" tab on the Memorial rather than post a public message on my Profile page. Regarding Edits; I try to keep up with these but, since no automated e-mail is sent to me, I have no way of knowing when Edits have been submitted. Be patient, I will get to them when I can.

TRANSFERS: If you would like a Find A Grave Memorial which I maintain transferred to you, please let me know by clicking on the "Edit" button and then "Suggest any other correction or addition" for that Memorial and provide your relationship to that individual. If the person is in my tree and not a direct blood relative of yours, I prefer to maintain the Memorial as it makes it easier for me to make updates and link family members.

ABOUT ME: We lived in White Lake, Aurora, SD, USA when I was born. I currently live in Eastern Kansas. I have been active in genealogy since about 1995. I enjoy going to cemeteries to take photos of tombstones whenever I can. Each year I take a trip to do just that. I also will visit local cemeteries when time allows.

DNA: According to the DNA test I purchased through, my lineage is (as of this writing),
100% European:

59% Great Britain
15% Italy/Greece
12% Eastern Europe
7% Scandinavian
(Plus "Trace Regions")
2% Western Europe
2% Finland/Northwest Russia
2% European Jewish
1% Ireland

LATER MIGRATION: Many members of my family were part of the large migration of Germans from Russia (Odessa region on the Black Sea). Some of my family settled in WI, USA (many in Dane County, WI, USA) and then on to SD, USA, most of them settled in or near the Parkston, Hutchinson, SD, USA area.

BLOOD LINES IN MY TREE INCLUDE: Aeiler/Ayler/Eiler, Badré/Badri, Becker, Beilstein, Bourg, Buckholtz, Cremans, Daescher, Dorsfeidts, Endres, Esser, Fischer, Geraths, Gerten, Guelden, Hambloch, Hartmann, Hensel, Hohn, Jung, Kannengiesser, Klein, Koltes, Koth, Kurtenbach, Lachmund, Leder, Leischner, Leoln, Liesch, Linnartz, Lkirchen, Luy, Mick/Mück/Mük, Mueller, Nitska, Pauli, Riethmuller, Scheiffart, Schieder, Schieffers, Schumacher, Sidon, Stockhausen, Weiland, Welters, Wermers, Wiedenfeld, Wirtz & Villmow to name only a few.

GOALS: My goals are to update my family tree and to link as many family members together on Find A Grave as possible, ensuring that, to the best of my knowledge, the information provided is accurate and complete. I will also do my best to fulfill photo requests whenever I am able. I do travel to several other states so I may be able to take photos outside of my local area but, only as my travels allow.

PHOTOS: Please feel free to use the photos I have taken & uploaded! They are for the families of the departed. If you upload a photo to any of the Memorials I manage that contains any information missing from the Memorial, I would appreciate it if you let me know via the "Edit" button on that Memorial so that I may update the information.

OTHER WEB SITES: I have temporarily cancelled my subscription to (User Name "mbiwdy") but, have occasionally uploaded my tree to RootsWeb. By the way, RootsWeb gives you the ability to see your family in Ahnentafel format which is visually much easier to read and see how your family is connected!

A BIG "Thank You!" to all those willing Find A Grave volunteer members for working with me to accomplish our goals, and happy hunting!
