A native of Fremont, he was an Army Veteran of World War II
He is survived by his wife, Irene; a stepdaughter, a stepson; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; a sister, Violet Billett, of Sandusky; four brothers, Richard, of Port Clinton, Raymond of Bellevue; Harrison of Greenwich, and Clarence of Fremont.
Webb-Roderick Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements and burial was at Elk City, Kan.
