Sfc. Floyd J. Mikula, 1111 Sussex Dr., died at 9:45 p.m. Sunday in Brooke Army Hospital, Brooke Army Medical Center, Ft. Sam Houston, Texas. He was born in South Bend May 4, 1905 and had been in the Army 22 years. He is survived by six sisters, Mrs. Josephine Nowak, Mrs. Cecelia Danielowicz, Mrs. Theresa Graves, Mrs. Tekla Bickel and Mrs. Irene Hutman, all of South Bend, and Mrs. Helen Burnside, Denver, Colo.; and a brother, Anthony, South Bend. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Thursday in St. Joseph Funeral Home. Rev. Boleslaw Sztuczko, C.S.C.; pastor, of St. Hedwige's Catholic Church, will officiate at funeral services at 10 a.m. Saturday in the church. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Garden. Sgt. Mikula was a member of Lottie A. Zell Garrison 146, Army & Navy Union.

Note: February 29, 1958 is not a leap year; Sgt. Mikula was buried March 1, 1958.
