Mrs. Henrietta Herriges, 79, of Kiel, died December 16 at Calumet Homestead in New Holstein.
Born July 11, 1898, in Kiel, she was a daughter of Carl J. and Minnie Zimmermann Meiselwitz. She graduated from Kiel High School in 1916 and from The University of Wisconsin in 1920. She taught school in Tomah following her graduation. She was a member of the first Presbyterian Church, United Presbyterian Women, and the Kasper-Bechle-Wilkens American Legion Post Auxiliary.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Raymond Schmelter of Oshkosh; a son, William C. Curry of Kiel; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Carl Stumpf and a brother, Henry Meiselwitz, both of Kiel.
The funeral service was held at Meiselwitz Funeral Home, the Rev. Joe V. Anderson, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial was in Kiel Cemetery.
