Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Winkler, 50, were held from St. Luke's Lutheran church. Rev. J.P. Klenk, pastor, officiated.

Text for the sermon was "To Whom Shall We Go? Thou hast words of eternal life." Pallbearers were nephews including Leo Kunkel, Edwin Koester of Olney, Oscar, Ludwig, Arnold and Elmo Winkler, all of The Grove, Texas.

Mrs. Winkler died of pneumonia and spinal meningitis.

Mrs. Winkler was born at Taylor and later moved to The Grove. There her first husband was killed by lightning.

In a ceremony read at The Grove on Thanksgiving Day in 1914. Mrs. Lauschke and Mr. Winkler were united in marriage and returned to Olney to make their home.

Two children: Louise Lauschke and Mrs. Erwin Bredthauer, both of Olney were born to the first marriage.

To Mr. and Mrs. Winkler, two children were born: Johnnie and Leola, both of whom live in Olney. Leola is in Olney High school.

Other survivors: three grandchildren, all of Olney; five brohters - Fred Huebner of Hooker, OK; Otto Huebner of Turpin, OK; Paul Huebner of Medina; Walter Huebner of Turpin, OK; three sisters - Mrs. W.J. Kunkel of Olney, Mrs. Frank Wolff of Perryton, Mrs. August Winkler of LIberal, Kansas.
