Lauschke suffered a fatal heart attack at his farm home a few miles southwest of Olney, near the airport.

He had lived most of his life in Olney.

In 1937, he married Miss Erna Jeske in Olney.

Survived by his wife; six daughters - Mrs. Lorita Dietrich of Tuscon, AZ, Mrs. Carole Eckert of Olney, Mrs. Ray Bernhardt of Amarillo, Miss Mary Lauschke of Olney, Miss Louanne Lauschke of Olney, Miss Ellen Lauschke of Olney; one sister - Mrs. Rosalie Bredhauer of Irving; one half-sister - Mrs. O.B. Jeske of Olney; one half brother - John Winkler of Olney.
