This is a small old cemetery I happened onto in 1994 just east of the German Luthran Church on the south side of Hwy 36, near The Grove, TX. Moritz Clemence Huebner was a 'lost' ancestor, husband of Selma Fichte. Huebner was instrumental in bringing the Fichte family from Germany to Texas, and married Selma. Family lore has it that Huebner bought land near Liberal, KS (probably sight unseen), and was taking a wagon load of stuff north when a wheel broke and the wagon overturned, killing him. If someone knows the name of this cemetery or can locate it and give more information about what it might be known as, I welcome any help. Moritz C Huebner's stone is near the gate, one of the first graves you encounter in this small cemetery.
