HINES DEVONNE LIVELY, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and respected friend, passed away April 3, 2007 at the age of 81.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Martha Faye; sons Edwin Wayne Lively and wife Fern, Michael Sherman Lively and wife Janet, and Timothy Hines Lively; grandchildren Brian, Jennifer, Kelli, Joey, and Kevin; brothers Don Lively, Bill Lively and wife Doris, and sister Maxine Lively.

Hines was a very respected and dedicated employee with a long career in the engineering/drafting fields with Gulf Coast Fabricators, Southwest Fabricators and finally retiring from Brown and Root after 25 years in 1985. He was a mentor and example for many engineers and draftsmen, who valued his expertise. He was a faithful and respected friend to all who knew him, always willing to lend a hand on projects for friends and family. He was a "buddy" to his brother Don. Hines accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age and his life was always an example of living Christian principles. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed many hours hunting and fishing with friends and family. He was a faithful and tireless care-giver to his mother and father for many years as well as to long time friend Vergie Drake and a special aunt, Gladys Evans.
