Fernando E. {Bing) Joyal 75, of Sonoma. Calif., died at the Mission Convalescent Hospital there Tuesday morning after a long illness.

He was born Aug. 28, 1904 in Laconia, the son of Fernando C. and Sadie (Colby) Joyal. He had resided in California for the past four years.

He served in the U.S. Navy from 1923-1954 and at retirement was Chief Bosuns Mate. He was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church of Laconia while he resided here, and he was a member of Lodge of Elks 876 of Laconia.

Survivors include two brothers, Henry Joyal of Petaluma. Calif., and Edward Joyal of Laconia; five sisters, Mrs. Eva Morancy, Mrs. Edna Bouley, Mrs. Agnes Blackey and Mrs. Edith Darling, all of Laconia and Mrs. Sadye Edwards of Belmont: several nieces and nephews.

Committal prayers will be said at the family lot in St. Lambert Cemetery at a later date. There are no calling hours.

Services are under the direction of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home.
