She was a nurse at the old Duval Medical Center. And she was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church at 7512 Lem Turner Road. Rev. Emanuel J. Morris preached her funeral there. A sweeter soul there never was (with the possible exception of her mother Rachel). Everyone who knew Big Mama loved her.
