FRITCH - Archie Neal Rhodes Sr., 84, died Saturday, March 4, 2000.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. A.F. Casey, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in The Garden of Good Shepherd at Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Mr. Rhodes was born in Mount View, Okla., and had lived in Fritch since 1950. He was a truck driver for Merchants and a member of First Baptist Church of Fritch.

Survivors include three sons, Archie Rhodes Jr. of Hooker, Okla., Danny Rhodes of Amarillo, and Jimmy Rhodes of Pampa; two daughters, Judy Douglas of Pampa and Sheryl Estep of Dalhart; a brother, J.V. Rhodes of Carnegie, Okla.; a sister, Elsie Hughes of Wheeler; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Crown of Texas Hospice, 1000 S. Jefferson, Amarillo, TX 79101.

FRITCH - Archie Neal Rhodes, 84, died Saturday, March 4, in Amarillo.

Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Fritch with Rev. A.F. Casey, pastor, officiating. Interment was in 'The Garden of Good Shepherd" at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.

Mr. Rhodes was born in Mnt. View, Okla. and had been a Fritch resident since 1950. He was a truck driver for Merchants and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fritch.

He is survived by three sons, Archie Rhodes, Jr. of Hooker, Okla., Danny Rhodes of Amarillo and Jimmy Rhodes of Pampa; two daughters, Judy Douglas of Pampa and Sheryl Estep of Dalhart; one brother, J.V. Rhodes of Carnnegie [sic], Okla.; one sister, Elsie Hughes of Wheeler; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Casket bearers were his grandsons.
