Obituary: Columbus Dispatch, Columbus, Ohio 02 January 1999. NEAL, Freda Alberta Neal 86, of Thurman, Ohio died Thursday Evening at Monterey Care Center in Grove City, Ohio. Born June 12, 1912 in Putnam Co. West Va, daughter of the late Perry Wallace Simpson and Emma Lenora Scholtz Simpson. In addition to her parents she was preceded by her husband Gill G. Neal who preceded her in 1997, and by 3 sisters Ruby Oliver, Lillian Donahue, and Goldie McDermitt. Sh was a homemaker and a member of Centerville Freewill Baptist Chruch. Sh is survived by 3 sons, Gay Ernest Neal of Xenia, Ray Eugene neal of Columbus, with whom she had made her home for the past year, Charles Dorsal Neal of Jeffersonville, In; 1 daughter, Ruth Alice Cheesebrew of Columbus; 22 grandchildren;37 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. 1 sister Macil Davis of Medway, Ohio. Funeral Services will be conductied a 11 am Tuesday at Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home, 810 Sencond Ave, Gallipolis, OHio, with Rev. Herman Jordan officiating. Burial wil follow in Centerpoint Cemetery. Friends may call at funeral home on Monday from 6-9 pm.
