Sara Frances Baxter Kitchens Horton passed away April 28, 2006 at her resident on Joy Street in Jackson, Georgia.
She was pre-ceded in death by her her parents; Joseph Jackson Baxter and Margie Cardell Baxter; 1st husband, Bert Tammany "B. T." Kitchens, Sr.; One sister, Mildred Baxter Davis; Three brothers, James Baxter of Griffin, Charles and Herrell Baxter of Jackson.
Frances was a loving wife, mother, & a friend to all.
Everyone that knew her loved her. After her death, many people told the family of good deeds she did for them. She was very active until she suffered strokes in 1992.
Frances was a Registered Practical Nurse. She was a very good caring nurse because she loved her profession. She loved caring for people.
Frances was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of Jackson, GA. After strokes, it was hard for her to get around in the large church without help so she and Jay started to Second Baptist Church, which was very small. She never moved her letter from her beloved First Baptist Church. She had probably been a member since 1949 or earlier.
Mrs. Horton is survived by; her 2nd husband, W. J. Horton of 20 years, one son, Bert T. Kitchens, Jr., two daughters, Margart K. Miller and Jean K. Miller, all of Jackson.
Funeral Services were conducted from the Sherrell Funeral Home in Jackson. Burial in Jackson City Cemetery.
