Ray Sargent was the fourth Son of Junia Sargent and Ida Maria Dack and was born in Hurley, Turner, Dakota Territory (now South Dakota) on 3 Apr 1887. He became a dentist before the 1910 Federal Census when he was living with his parents and siblings in Belverde, Los Angeles, California. On 29 Mar 1914 he moved up to Alberta Province in Canada and moved back to the United States (Pennsylvania). They had their daughter Violet in Canada. He died in 1919 during the 1918 Flu Pandemic.
