Willard E. (Buster) Gibson

Mr. Willard E. (Buster) Gibson, age 65, of Dallas, passed away Jan. 28, 1992, in the VA Hospital in Dallas. Mr. Gibson was born June 19, 1926, in Houston County and had lived in Dallas since 1978. He was a truck driver, attended the Assembly of God Church and was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Coast Guard.

Survivors include a son, Justin Gibson; granddaughter, Tiffany Gibson and grandson, Stephen Gibson, all of Wichita, Kan; four sisters, Irene Taylor of Medicine Lodge, Kan., Lorene Roberson of Conroe, Dorothy McCants of Willis and Rex Fay Bell of La Porte; brother, Billy Jack Sims of Waco; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Gibson were held at 10 a.m., Friday, at Latexo Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Jones officiating. Internment followed.
