C.D. (Cy) Odell, 68, of Charlottesville died in a Salem hospital January 21, 1977.

An agent for the Minnesota Mutual Life Insurance Co. for the past 30 years. He was the past Master of Charlottesville Masonic Lodge No. 55, a member of Acca Shrine Temple of Richmond and the Scottish Rite of Lynchburg and past president of the Charlottesville Lions Club.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Grove Odell, of Charlottesville, one daughter, Mary Allen Ingram, of Vienna, Va., one step son, Joseph Everett Grove, of Triangle, Va., one sister, Mrs. Louise Odell Brown, of Baltimore and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, Charlottesville with Dr. Alpheus Potts and Rev. Louis Carson officiating with interment in Massanutten Cemetery, Woodstock, Va.

There will be a Masonic service at 7:30 p.m. Saturday evening at the Joseph W. Teague Funeral home.
