Mrs. Nancy E.D. Price, widow of the late H.R. Price, died yesterday shortly afternoon, at the home of her son-in-law, Col. J.N. Crockett. Mrs. Price had been in poor health for a month or more, but was able to be about the home until a few days ago. She was born in this county, March 28, 1813, and was therefore nearing her 87th birthday. She was an excellent lady; a member of the Presbyterian church and lived a consistent Christian life. She is the last of her family. Mrs. Price's only child, Mrs. Col. Crockett, survives her. The remains will be interred in the old cemetery today at 12:30 after a funeral service by her pastor, Rev. Chalmers Fraser.
