Born May 7, 1909, in Lancaster, he was a son of the late Bud and Bleeker Deese Threatt . He had retired as a carpenter for Springs Industries.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ruby Ivey Threatt ; sons, Crawford Threatt of Henderson, NC, and Jerry Roger Threatt and Wayne Lee Threatt , both of Lancaster; daughters, Mrs. Nellie Ruth Powers and Mrs. Myrtice Carter, both of Lancaster; sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Hegler of Lancaster; 33 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
