Pioneer Attala Woman Dies At 90-Years-Old

Kosciusko, June 22 Mrs. Eliza Jane Bennett Ramsey, pioneer resident of the county, died at her home at the age of 90. She had been a resident of the French Camp community for many years.

Funeral services were held at Berea, Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Day of Louisville and the Rev. Garrett of Durant. Burial followed in the Church Cemetery.

Surviving are 8 children: Emmett Turner, Durant; Luther Turner, Cooper Turner, Eupora; Joe Turner, Vinton, La.; Mrs. Nannie Rawles, Mccool; Mrs. Stella Carr, Orange, Texas; Erthie T u r n e r, Pascagoula. Miss.

Mrs. Eliza Jane Bennett Ramsey, pioneer resident of the county, died at home near French Camp June 12 at the age of 90. She was respected and esteemed in the community where she had lived for many years and her passing is regreted by a host of friends and acquaintances.
Funeral services were held at Berea June 13 conducted by Rev. Garrett of Durant. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Jordan Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were: Bob Bennett; Upton Black; John Everett Turner; Upton Canon; Nelse Adams; Jimmie Jennings

Surviving relatives are eight children: Emmett Turner, Durant; Luther Turner, Texas; Robert E. Turner, McCool; Cooper Turner, Eupora; Joe Turner, Vinton, La. ; Mrs. Nannie Rawls, McCool; Mrs. Stella Carr, Orange, TX; Erthie Turner, Pascagoula, Miss
