In loving memory of Ruth Foster, 103 years old, born March 30, 1899 in Alexandria, Minnesota, the daughter of Arthur Chas Van Kirk and Mary Ann Amerhein. Passed on April 2, 2002 at Seal Beach, California. Matriarch of sixth generation family. Resident of Long Beach, California for 60 years. Survived by daughters, Maxine, Pat, and Betty, 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 22 great-great grandchildren. We will never forget you.

She married Clarence Dilingham Cass on February 19, 1919 in Red Oak, Iowa. /They had 4 children, Mary Maxine, Betty June, Wilma Marie, and Mary Rose. Clarence died on February 2, 1965. She later married Jess W. Foster on June 4, 1966 in Los Angeles, California.
