Mrs. Ora Ford, formerly Cecil Van Kirk of this city, died of double pneumonia, at Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs, Iowa, last Saturday morning, aged 25 years. She was buried Monday, December 23. Funeral services were held at Cutler's undertaking parlors, short services were held at the cemetery. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Taylor, sister, Mrs. Earl Summers, and husband and sister, Ruth Van Kirk of this city, attended the funeral. She leaves to mourn her loss, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Taylor, four sisters; they are Mrs. Earl Summers and Ruth Van Kirk of this city, Mrs. Alta Jones of Coburg, and Mrs. Mollie Purcell of Red Oak, Iowa, also four brothers, William of Bruno, Minnesota, Frank of Camp Cody, New Mexico, Irvin, who is in France, and Walter of Mitchell, South Dakota. Frank came from Camp Cody to attend the funeral, but on account of heavy snow in the south delaying the trains, he arrived too late for the funeral. Before her marriage, Cecil worked at the Ole Johnson Bakery in this city, where she won many friends by her pleasant manner and courteous treatment of the public.

She is survived by her husband, one son, Walter, at home, her mother, Mrs. Mary Taylor, Shenandoah, Iowa; four brothers, Irwin Van Kirk, in France; William Van Kirk, Bruno, Minnesota; Frank Van Kirk, Camp Cody, and Walter Van Kirk, Mitchell, South Dakota; four sister, Mrs. Pearl Summers, Shenandoah, Iowa; Mrs. Alta Jones, Coburg, Iowa; Mrs. Mollie Purcell, Red Oak, Iowa and Miss Ruth Van Kirk, Shenandoah, Iowa and one half sister, Lena Taylor, Shenandoah, Iowa. The funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from Cutler's chapel. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Council Bluffs, Iowa.
