Minnie Laura (Waechter) Frahm was born June 27,1901, to Christian and Elizabeth (Luhn) Waechter at Bladen, Nebraska. She died at Community Care in Blue Hill, Nebraska, on Monday, November 7, 1994, at the age of 93.

She was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Blue Hill, where she remained a member all of her life.

On February 26, 1928, she was united in marriage with Clarence Frahm. To this union a daughter and a son were born.

Clarence and Minnie lived on a farm northeast of Blue Hill until 1966, when they retired and moved into Blue Hill. They entered the Community Care Center at Blue Hill in 1988. They celebrated 61 years together in 1989, and Mr. Frahm died later that year on December 8.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Carl, Louis, Fred, Harold and Howard Waechter; and three sisters, Eda Hartman, Ella Englehardt, and Clara Vance.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Julane and Robert Kathman of Hastings; her son and daughter-in-law, William and Lois Frahm of Blue Hill; six granddaughters, Cynthia Consbruck of Giltner, Kimberly Arnold of Trumbull, Vicki Jacobson of Roset, Wyoming, Debra Atkins of Des Moines, Iowa, Brenda Myers and Heidi Frahm, both of Blue Hill; and 14 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Blue Hill on Friday, November 11 at 3:00 p.m. The Rev. Robert Hoeft will officiate. Joan Classen will be organist and Evart Barton will sing "My God and I," "In The Garden," and "How Great Thou Art."

Active Pallbearers will be Keith Waechter, Bob Dygert, Marlin Meyer, Don Schnase, Lloyd; Schnase, and Lloyd Post. Honorary bearers will be Harvey Scheiding, Vern Acridge, Wendel Stevens, and Woodson Bentz. Interment will be at the Blue Hill Cemetery.

The Merten-Butler Mortuary of Blue Hill is in charge of arrangements.
