Sr Marguerite Aimée Chetelat, 58, died Monday at the convent of Villa Aviat, Childs, after a long illness.
The former Gertrude Chetelat, was born in Basel, Switzerland, and entered the congregation of the Oblate Sisters of Saint Francis de Sales at the age of 21. In 1958, she was sent to the American foundation of the sisters in Childs.
She leaves no immediate survivors in this area.
Mass of Christian Burial will be offered tonight at 8 pm in the Oblate Fathers' chapel in Childs. Friends may call this afternoon from 1 pm to 5 pm at the Oblate Sisters' chapel there. Burial will be tomorrow at 10 am on the convent grounds.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Sr Marguerite-Aimée's name to:
